When he founded Gamblin Artists Colors in his garage in 1980, Robert Gamblin had just enough money for a small three-roll mill and some white pigments. During that time, he resolved to build a colorhouse completely dedicated to oil painters. Making materials not just as they had been, but as they ought to be.
